We host events on site in Lockhart, Staples and Martindale. We also travel. We have participated in a wide range of event services both as host and vendor. The sky is truly the limit. If you’re interested in hosting an event on our location or at yours, contact us directly with a request to get the ball rolling.

Birthday Parties
Ride a painted pony! $350 for up to 6 buckaroos.
How about a pony painting session for your birthday boy or girl! Spend 45 minutes painting the fabulous canvas of Maverick, our large, white namesake who is half-Percheron, half-Arabian, and 100% snack-lover. He’ll humbly stand by as children write birthday messages, make horsey hand prints, or turn him into a zebra or unicorn! As always, the experience caters to each group, but focuses on developing comfort, respect and awe of the horse during unmounted activities. After the work is done, we’ll throw a saddle on this noble steed and children can spend another 45 minutes taking turns horseback riding, learning about posture, hand and foot position, and goal setting.
Our birthday sessions remain focused on educating participants on horse safety, horse care and the fundamentals of safe riding. We do not offer “pony rides,” but rather a beautiful experience that engages the senses. What we provide is more of a challenge, and requires children to focus, follow instruction and care for the horse. It’s quite rewarding to little cowboys and cowgirls to know they are giving back to these wonderful animals who offer we humans so much!
Weddings
Inspiring scenery sets your day in a rustic barn, an elegant tent, or simply out in the open under some good old Texas sunshine. Our thoughtful local partnerships will help us provide you the cuisine and charismatic setting that suits your needs. We aim to make sure that all of your senses are enlivened with the details of the country wedding you’ve imagined. While we are happy to work with your pre-determined caterer, we have country cooking covered if you’d like to leave that part of the planning to us. Our vendor partners provide guests with award winning Texan fare. Be ready to eat big with juicy BBQ from the BBQ capital of the country. For the more delicate palliate, enjoy cuisine that delights the senses along with the fine China to serve it. How do you want to chow down? Picnic tables or formal dining room decor are available for your ranch experience.

Team building and corporate events can be stressful at any venue. Let us work with you and your event coordinator to develop the details of the day to provide the structure you need to make for a hassle-free event. We will work closely with your coordinator to ensure that your individual needs met.
Reunions
When you want to get your family and friends together out in the country, you have an idea for your day. What is it? We want to work with you to provide the amenities that will help all of the guests in your group reconnect with the great outdoors. We provide the venue for: Fraternity and Sorority Reunions, Family Reunions, Private School Class Reunions and more.
Improved Amenities
We are commitment to improving an already beautiful property. Future improvements include a Gazebo to host intimate weddings, rustic cabins for camping, a floating dock and of course, improved landscaping. s plans for these amenities unwind we are excited to work with you to create the picture perfect day. Maybe your color choice will make its way into the annual beds, paint the trim on a country shed, or line the wagon wheel decor of the entryway.
